The piano has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. And I still enjoy discovering where it might take me next.
My mum and grandmother first introduced me to the piano when I was a little boy in Liptovský Mikuláš. Without any grand plans, they simply wanted me to learn to play an instrument that had always been close to them. What began as childhood curiosity gradually became a passion — and eventually, my profession.
When I was fifteen, Martin Harich and I started a musical duo. It later grew into a band, and suddenly there were television cameras, concert stages and packed venues. It was there that I learned something no school could ever teach me — how to connect with an audience, improvise and respond to the atmosphere of a particular moment.
The solid musical foundation I received at the J. L. Bella Conservatory in Banská Bystrica was later complemented by my experience as a rehearsal pianist for actors at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica. Today, I also teach at the Elementary Art School in Liptovský Mikuláš. This has allowed me to naturally move between the concert stage and teaching, combining classical music with a contemporary approach and the freedom of improvisation.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to share the stage with some of the most distinctive voices in the Slovak music scene, many of whom I continue to collaborate with today — including Martin Harich, Barbora Hazuchová, Martin Císar, Emma Drobná, Smola a Hrušky and others. I’ve performed at festivals, in theatres, at weddings, galas, corporate events and intimate chamber concerts.
My repertoire ranges from classical music and film scores to contemporary compositions and modern arrangements. I enjoy playing for a packed concert hall just as much as I do for a small audience gathered for an intimate evening.
Marek brings his experience as a pianist, musical dramaturg and performer, while Alexy brings the elegance and expression of classical ballet, shaped by more than 22 years of professional dance experience. Throughout her career, she has performed with the Ukrainian National Theatre and the Slovak National Theatre, as well as in numerous productions and international tours across Europe.
AMORIA can become an intimate part of the atmosphere during a wedding drinks reception, an elegant gala moment, or a distinctive artistic feature of a corporate or private event.
Each performance can be tailored to the space, character of the event and the client’s vision — from an intimate piano-and-ballet performance to a larger-scale artistic production.
AMORIA & violončelista SLAVOMÍR REPASKÝ
For an even more immersive musical experience, the project can be expanded with live cello performed by Slavomír Repaský.
The result is an exceptional trio of KLAVÍR – VIOLONČELO – BALETwhere live music and movement come together to create one visual and emotional narrative.
The repertoire, choreography and entire concept of the performance can be tailored to the specific event.

I believe music has no age and no perfect moment when you are supposed to begin. You don’t need to have a musical background, years of experience, perfect pitch or the ambition to become a professional musician. All you need is the desire to play.
I offer individual piano lessons for children, teenagers and adults — from complete beginners to those who already have some experience at the piano and want to take it further.
For children, the most important thing is to help them build a relationship with music and make sure playing the piano never feels like just another obligation.
Every child is different, so I tailor each lesson to their age, pace and personality. Alongside the fundamentals, we develop musicality, rhythm, listening skills and, above all, the joy of seeing their own progress.
Maybe you’ve always wanted to play the piano but never found the right time. Maybe you played as a child and, years later, feel ready to return to music. Or maybe there’s simply something you’ve been putting off for too long. It’s never too late to start.
I adapt the pace and content of each lesson to what you want to achieve. We can start with the basics, work on technique, chords or improvisation, or gradually work towards playing a piece you’ve always wanted to learn.
I like to combine classical foundations with a practical, modern approach. We don’t have to stay only with classical music — we can explore film music, popular songs or pieces you simply enjoy.
